Single Parenting Part 1

Our mission at Recovery after Divorce is to provide hope, healing and life after the loss of a significant relationship. One of our goals is to provide practice insight and resources for single parents.

In our Starting Over Workshops one of the biggest areas we continually address is how divorce impacts children. We want to equip you and those you know who need the answers to these concerns.

In an effort to fulfill that mission we will provide videos on single parenting on our YouTube.com channel called Afterdivorce1 video blogs and interviews on our web site at http://www.recoveryafterdivorce.com/

Our next upcoming video blogs will be short brief interviews with Elsa Kok Colopy, speaker and author of
The Single Mom's Guide to Finding Joy in the Chaos; Settling for Less Than God's Best? A Relationship Checkup for Single Women; A Woman Who Hurts, A God Who Heals; 99 Ways to Fight Worry and Stress and A Woman With a Past, A God With a Future.

Here are our first questions for Elsa:Tell us about your past and what you have you learned as a single parent?
What encouraging word would you give to a single parent regarding their own heart issues and how it impacts their kids?
